the grommets on the air force flag that I bought are too small in diameter so I had to use two zip ties per grommet and it is flying along with the American flag

The new 2003 Georgia state flag is the same design as the first National Flag of the Confederate States of America----many don't know this. And Mississippi with the CSA battle flag in the canton---it was under controversy in 2001 and a new flag was proposed ... but was shot down by the old 1890s version we know today. I'm a huge US Civil War fan and appreciate the design of the old war flags :)

Another fun fact ... the green field used to be purple before the 1920s ... the flag of Washington Territory had the same design you see today but with a purple field ... this explains why the 1861 University of Washington in Seattle colors are purple and gold :)

The Washington State flags are double sided according to the official design. This means that the image of George Washington is printed correctly on each side. Fun fact: The Oregon flag is the only state flag to feature different designs on the front and back. Thanks for the question. @blackfeatherarchery I made my own flag pole by buying some Steel pipe from home depot, digging a 2 foot hole with my shovel, bought a flag from walmart, and lifting the flag pole into the 2 foot hole, add the soil back on and bam! my own flag pole under 60$ you don't even need concrete from the hole being so deep the pole won't come off.

@kekru184 I apologize for not showing it in the video, but an easy way to make sure your pole is level is to simply take a carpenter's level and constantly check against the pole while installing. These levels can be found at any hardware store and are generally inexpensive. That would be my recommendation. Thanks for the commen and I will make sure we include that on future videos.

DAMN, LOL! I work for a flag pole company in San Antonio TX and this is all new to me!!!!! Concrete around the sleeve is norma, plus the sand, lmao!

This flag was originally for the Vietnam War and stands for Prisoners-Of-War and Missing-In-Action soldiers. It has now come to stand for all POW or MIA military.
